Ahhh-----The New Year! 2010! Bring it on! Delighted to be in it. But not because we had a problem with 2009... 2009 was fine. So much wonderful travel, SO many adventures and......music. Shall we recap? Trips to Australia, Canada, ROME, (and the Eternal City was nuthin' but pleasure!) East Coast, West Coast, Cross Country and circles in between. Fats released "World Of Wonder" and the EP "7" that Fats and KR sell at shows has proven to "have legs" as they say. But 2010 promises even more as Kristi Rose and Fats head out ever more frequently. "North-South-East-West-- Can't say which I like the best".
So how has 2010 started out? Well, it began with Fats being crowned the King of 12th Night up at the farm in Little Egypt at a grand soiree. An auspicious beginning to a New Year! The first show? It was at Music City Roots out at the Loveless Barn on January 6th, (Epiphany, you know, The Wise Men). Absolutely the coolest ongoing musical series taking place in Music City. Broadcast over WSM Radio every Wednesday. So.....off to a good start.
